Rebeca Barrett has worked in financial services since completing her undergraduate degree in Commercial Law in 2006, starting out as part of the specialist SIPP team at Hargreaves Lansdown, before leaving to start a family with her husband.

After a short career break (after ‘hitting the jackpot’ with twins) Rebeca re-joined financial services - wanting to help families and professionals identify their objectives and achieve their financial goals, working face to face with clients.

Rebeca worked hard to achieve the formal qualifications needed to do this, and to match her knowledge and understanding of financial services, taking just 6 months to obtain the Financial Planning Diploma with the Chartered Insurance Institute.

She was then happily employed by Kellands Bristol where the client relationship is central to the company ethos. Rebeca continues to value the opportunity to acquire the formal qualifications that run alongside offering a bespoke and tailored service to clients in the changing landscape of financial services.

Rebeca lives in Bristol with her family and enjoys being involved in the local community through the Girl Guiding organisation, fundraising for Bristol Children’s Hospital and her Children’s Sporting commitments. Rebeca’s favourite place to be found is curled up with a good book and a glass of something fizzy (even if often it's only sparkling water!)

Rebeca’s qualifications include:

  • Commercial Law LLB
  • Diploma in Financial Planning
  • R01 – Regulation and Ethics
  • R02 – Investment Principles & Risk
  • R03 – Personal Taxation
  • R04 – Pensions and Retirement planning
  • R05 – Financial protection
  • CF8 - Long term care Planning
  • ER1 – Equity Release
  • DBS Police Checked
