Philip went to school in Ipswich in the great days of Bobby Robson and started in financial services on Fleet Street in 1979.  He recently celebrated his 40 years in the industry with some close friends, including Steve Kelland, in “Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese“.

Philip spent 12 years with Phoenix/Sun Alliance before becoming an IFA, joining Holden Meehan in 1991 and then Towry Law. In 2014,  Philip was looking for a more personal approach for his clients and after much searching decided to join Kellands. He hasn’t looked back since!

Philip is a family man with 4 children who are no longer ‘kids’ but who are fully reliant on home! He is a member of the Clifton Club, Henbury Golf Club and Nuffield Gym and is on the Clifton Cathedral Finance Committee; he is also a former Governor of SS Paul’s Primary School Cotham where his wife Alyson was a teaching assistant.

A Chartered Financial Planner at Kellands Bristol, Philip is very passionate about his job. He is also very well versed in ESG investing, having been involved in this area for nearly 30 years.
